Who we are

Welcome to Splashes of Science, a small torch of hope and understanding in a world too often divided by borders and conflicts. Our international project stands as a testament to the power of human connection, dedicated to amplifying the voices of those whose lives have been torn by war, political conflict, and violence. With a focus on refugees from across the globe, we strive to bridge gaps and build empathy among the worldwide community.

At Splashes of Science, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling. Our mission is to listen, share, and honor the powerful narratives of individuals who have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety and peace. From the streets of Ukraine to the deserts of Syria, from the mountains of Afghanistan to the chaos of Yemen, and beyond to the turmoil in Myanmar, South Sudan, DR Congo, Somalia, Mexico, Venezuela, and Gaza, we gather the stories of resilience and survival.

Our team is a diverse group of compassionate journalists, activists, and volunteers, united by a common goal: to ensure that the stories of refugees are heard, understood, and acted upon. We work hard to collect these narratives, respecting the dignity and privacy of each individual while seeking to share their truth with the world.

Through our website and various platforms, we publish these stories, aiming to humanize the refugee experience and raise awareness of their plight. Our hope is that by fostering a deeper understanding and empathy, we can contribute to a more informed, compassionate, and inclusive world.

We invite you to join us on this journey. Explore the stories of courage and endurance on our platform. Engage with us as we advocate for change, support refugees in reclaiming their narratives, and work towards a future where every voice, no matter how quiet, is heard loud and clear.

At Splashes of Science, we’re not just sharing stories; we’re building a movement. A movement for knowledge, empathy, and action. Together, we can change the narrative, one story at a time.
